The infamous robot dog, Spot, has a new integration with FARO Technologies Inc, a 3D scanning and imaging solution. By partnering with FARO, Spot can now autonomously create 3D scans of your jobsite, “making it easier than ever to maintain a continuously updated digital twin” says Brian Ringley, Boston Dynamics’ Construction Technology Manager.
