First of all I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your
head before writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
Kudos!

Thanks for your interest in Jobsite! One practice that has helped me tremendously is the Pomodoro Technique, where you work for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break, and then do the same thing over and over until you are finished with your task. It’s great for focusing and staying on track, especially for bigger writing assignments. However, I should say that taking 10-15 minutes to brainstorm is a good thing! Don’t be discouraged if it takes time, quality writing is usually worth the wait 🙂
