Three years ago we had an idea to put together the first Procore user conference. Like other user conferences, it was a great way for us to enhance client relationships, stay connected to those with boots on the ground, and soak in the experience of valued construction experts.

Since the first Groundbreak in Santa Barbara back in May of 2015, the event has grown far beyond a user conference. As Groundbreak expands and has transformed into an industry event, we will be moving to the place where everything is bigger in order to accommodate the growth––Austin, TX.
Austin is a city that is near and dear to our hearts seeing as we have our second largest Procore office located there. This year Groundbreak will take place March 29-31, 2017 at the Austin Convention Center.
“Great conference. Great blend of learning and access to thought leadership within Procore.” – Frank Sarno (Mortenson)
Thanks to input from clients and users, we are giving Groundbreak back to the construction community. We’ll still have our highly focused Procore tracks, but to those we’re adding expansive Continued Education opportunities, Executive and Business Excellence tracks, and our first-ever Exhibitor Expo. You’ll be the first to hear the latest Procore product announcements, help drive the development of future tools, and network with industry giants like Mortenson and HITT.
We built the program for Groundbreak around what we knew you wanted to take away from the event. Our goal is to have all attendees leave Groundbreak with a holistic understanding of the construction landscape. We’ve excitedly planned 80 educational sessions, product-based trainings, and opportunities to earn Continued Education credits.
And of course there will be a 50,000 sq foot innovation center with over 19 Innovation Labs to help generate the next generation of construction software. This is where our clients will have the chance to work directly with our product managers to help us improve Procore’s tools and user experience. Let us know what you’re thinking and what you want. Believe me, we’re all ears.
“The Innovation Lab was nice to get your hands on the tools and work face-to-face with the design teams.” – Barrett Zurbruegg (Monteith Construction)
We’re also excited to welcome Mike Rowe the American television host and narrator, best known for his work on the Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs, as our day-two keynote at Groundbreak this year! We’ll be announcing additional keynote speakers as we get closer to the event.
Our unique, energized audience and carefully planned agenda will make this Groundbreak a completely incomparable experience. If you’re at all involved in the construction space, you’ll want to be there.
