The top home builders in Australia were compiled by HIA’s housing report, just before COVID hit. Since then, one major player has called in the liquidators, but the rest have stayed relatively buoyant, thanks in part to HomeBuilder. The building industry is mostly made up of many small businesses, here are the top ten according to the number of builds over the 2019/2020 financial year.

Metricon accounts for just 2.5 per cent of all new homes built in Australia, building in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. They offer home designs and home and land packages of varying styles and budgets.
