World of Concrete Churns Out Groundbreaking Construction Robotics
One of the biggest turnouts at this year’s World of Concrete expo was TyBot, a rebar-tying robot capable of performing 1,000 ties per hour (roughly the equivalent of a six- to eight-worker crew).
Using automated computer vision to select and tie rebar intersections, TyBot’s technology points towards the future of jobsite machinery.
