The Molecular Sciences and Research Center at the University of Puerto Rico is a 152,000 sq. ft. advanced facility designed to meet the needs of cutting-edge research in Puerto Rico for the next 25 years.The innovative and architecturally striking curtain-wall exterior is an 8-story, reinforced concrete structure with a sophisticated foundation system that minimizes building vibration. Inside, the space is designed to support flexibility and adaptability, high-technology systems integration, and ease of sharing equipment and human resources for collaborative research.
