COMPANY OVERVIEW AND MISSION STATEMENT Taylor Corporation has been in business since 1969. The company started out as a small excavating company that specialized in concrete work, grading projects, clearing projects and utility work. By the late 1970’s the company was also performing mechanical projects and industrial projects. And by the end of the 1980’s we were constructing water and wastewater treatment plants and performing environmental work along with the heavy civil projects. We have constructed projects in municipal solid waste landfills, C&D landfills, industrial access roads, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, potable water transmission lines up to 36” in diameter, raw water intake lines up to 48” in diameter, fire protection lines, sanitary sewer lines (gravity and force main), process sewer lines (including outfall and pretreatment lines), methane gas mains, storm sewer lines, railroad industrial spurs and loops, large site grading projects up to 1,500,000 CY, Environmental Projects with direct EPA Oversite, Sanitary Lift Stations up to 40’ Deep, Erosion Control and Stabilization Projects, Tank Farms, Tunnel Construction Project, Asphalt Paving Projects, and Cast-in-place Concrete Projects (box culverts, retaining walls, tilt-up buildings, concrete paving, etc.). We are the process of completing a $120,000,000 Rendering Plant for Tyson Foods in Hanceville, Alabama. Over 70% of our work is from repeat customers. That is something that we take great pride in and continue to work hard everyday to continue those relationships.
