Stella-Jones Corporation is currently the largest manufacturer of utility poles in North America. In addition to our treating facilities, we are able to provide enhanced logistics and supply reliability through our rail car fleet, soon to be in excess of 1,000+ owned/leased railcars; a combination of company owned, and independent trucking resources; and a large network of company operated distribution facilities located throughout North America. In response to the wildfire threat, Stella-Jones Corporation now supplies poles specially wrapped with intumescent coated fiberglass mesh. The same material is also available in rolls, to allow customers to apply the fire resistant wrap to existing poles installed in the field. Our company’s success is based largely upon our commitment to long-term operating results, a very strong financial position, a stable and highly experienced team of employees, a safe and productive work environment, consistent quality, and a broad network of facilities that assure reliable access to raw materials. Our state-of-the-art plants exceed every EPA regulation. Stella-Jones’ commitment to the environment has been recognized by the communities where we live and work.
