Automate Trailing Unconditional Waiver Compliance

Launching May 19. Procore Pay now streamlines how general contractors manage trailing unconditional lien waivers when processing payments for new invoices. With this release, you can configure “Unconditional Waiver for the Previous Invoice” as a payment requirement at the company level. The system automatically flags invoices as non-compliant if the required unconditional waiver for the prior billing cycle remains locked or unsigned, making compliance status visible on both the Sub Invoices dashboard and invoice details. To further accelerate compliance, you can now bulk-select invoices and send direct waiver requests to subcontractors, all from the Sub Invoices dashboard. This update eliminates the need for manual tracking and one-by-one waiver unlocks, helping teams handle high invoice volumes efficiently. The locked waiver model remains intact for security—waivers are only unlocked when the general contractor initiates the process. Missing trailing waivers will flag non-compliance but will not block new invoice submissions, ensuring flexibility while maintaining oversight.

This enhancement helps reduce safety risks, avoid project delays, and ensures you stay ahead of regulatory requirements.

Bulk Action: Create Change Orders Faster

Beta update beginning May 1. Procore now offers a new "Bulk Action" option in the Change Events tool, available in open beta. This enhancement allows you to create both a Prime Change Order and a Budget Change simultaneously from the Change Event’s "Add To" menu. The feature intelligently adapts to your contract structure, supporting both single-tier and multi-tier Prime Contract Change Orders. A convenient modal guides you through selecting line items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Open URL Photo File Downloads in Analytics

Procore Analytics now offers a new feature that enables open access to photo file downloads directly from the photos table. With the introduction of a dedicated tab in the Analytics UI, Procore Analytics administrators can toggle the ‘Enable Open Link Access’ option, allowing anyone to download photo files via unique URLs—no Procore login required. By default, these links remain secure and require authentication, but with open access enabled, you can easily share photo files with users outside of Procore or integrate them into external applications that do not support authenticated links. This enhancement is especially valuable for embedding photos in tools like Power BI, streamlining collaboration and reporting for stakeholders who need quick, direct access to project visuals. Please note: this release applies to photo files only, with plans to expand open link access to additional tables in the future.

Exclude Test Projects from Insights Analytics

Launching May 19. You can now ensure your company-level analytics reflect only real, active projects with the new “Exclude Test Projects” toggle in Procore Insights. Available in the Company Insights side panel’s Customize modal, this feature lets you easily filter out any projects marked as “Test” from all Insights calculations—including metrics, aggregations, trends, and benchmarks. By default, the toggle is set to OFF, giving you full control over your data. When enabled, test and non-production projects are omitted, preventing them from skewing your company’s performance analytics. This enhancement was driven by customer feedback requesting more accurate and actionable Insights. By excluding test projects, you gain greater confidence in your analytics, leading to better decision-making and increased trust in your data. This update also addresses a top customization request and is expected to boost engagement and adoption of Insights across your organization.
