We’re excited to announce the release of Connection Manager, a new Project level tool that’s an integral component of our upcoming Connectability for Drawings functionality, set to enter Open Beta soon. This innovative tool is designed to redefine collaboration across projects, ensuring seamless integration and management of drawing connections between companies.
What is Connectability for Drawings?
Connectability for Drawings will enable a downstream project (recipient of drawings) to initiate a connection to an upstream project (source of drawings) that they have Drawing tool access to. Upon successful connection, published drawings will automatically be copied to the downstream project and kept in sync with the upstream project.
The Role of Connection Manager
Connection Manager serves as the hub for managing these project connections and notification settings. Now is the time to review and configure your settings before Open Beta begins. By preparing early, you ensure a seamless connection experience and set the stage for effective collaboration once the Open Beta begins.
Please note the ability to initiate connections is not currently available; this functionality will be available to downstream Open Beta participants in the upcoming months.
