You can now manage the subcontractor onboarding process from one location.
Manage Subcontractor Onboarding from One Location
You can now manage the subcontractor onboarding process from one location. From the Beneficiaries tab, you can now invite subcontractors to Procore Pay as well as send reminders for your trade partners to complete the onboarding process. This feature is accessible by Payment Admins and Beneficiary Approvers. See What are the default statuses for Procore Pay onboarding
Track Subtiers and Notices
Manage each Subcontractor’s sub-tier contractors and suppliers in a new, centralized tab on their commitment. From there, you’re able to view, add, edit and delete subtiers, as well as upload notices. This is particularly powerful in states that have Preliminary Notice requirements. Once a sub-tier contractor or supplier is added to this list, they’ll also show up during subcontractor invoicing, so you can require your subcontractor to collect lien waivers from them. See Add Sub-Tier Subcontractor Information to Commitments.
Set Vendor-Level Holds
Payment Admins and Disbursers can now apply Manual Holds to either the individual invoice or all invoices from a particular Vendor. After a Vendor Hold is created, the Hold will automatically be applied to all existing and future invoices for that trade partner (until released). Only Payment Admins and Disbursers will be able to create, edit, and release Vendor Holds, but Commitment Admins will be able to view them. See About Holds in Procore Pay
Make Manual Holds Visible to Specialty Contractors
You can now choose to make any Invoice or Vendor Hold visible to your subcontractor within the Invoice > Payment Requirements tab. By default, all Manual Holds are not visible to your subcontractors. See Create and Apply a Manual Hold on an Invoice
Filter by Manual Holds on the Payments Tool
You are now able to filter by Manual Holds from the Subcontractor Invoices tab of the Company-Level Payments tool to easily find invoices that have invoice or vendor holds applied. Conversely, filter out any invoices that have an invoice or vendor hold applied in order to select invoices that are ready to be paid! See Search for and Apply Filters on the Subcontractor Invoices Tab
Enable Payments on all New Projects
Companies can now enable Procore Pay on all new projects! This new setting within Project Controls allows a Payment Admin to automatically enable Pay on all new projects created after the toggle is turned on. See Enable or Disable Procore Pay on Your Projects
Automatically Calculate Status for Vendor Insurance - Sage 300
For Sage 300 customers, we will now automatically calculate the status for Vendor Insurance imported from Sage 300 into Procore’s Company Directory Insurance tool. Any expiration dates in the future will indicate that the insurance certificate is Compliant; while any expired certificates are Non-Compliant. This enables Procore Pay’s Commitment Compliance tab to calculate the compliance status of each specialty contractor correctly. See Manage Insurance Documents & Compliance Statuses for a Commitment
Insurance - Add Additional Insured
Now you are able to add “Additional Insured” (and Notes) to your Company and Project Insurance records! See Add Insurance to a Company Record in the Company Directory and Add Project Insurance to a Company Record in the Project Directory
Additional Workflow Conditionals for Disbursements
You can now create workflows that require additional review when an invoice or retention released on an individual invoice within a disbursement exceeds a dollar threshold. This allows your company to create the right review paths for your disbursements. See Best Practices for Creating a Payments Workflow
Edit Bank ID and Check Number for Payment Exports to ERP
Within the payment settings for Funding Accounts, users are now able to edit Bank ID and Check Number to any sequence needed to ensure that payment record exports to ERP have the right alphanumeric sequence. This is only available to Payment Admins. See Add Funding Accounts as a Payor
Enhanced Reporting Templates
Enhanced Reporting Templates are pre-made industry standard reports that are immediately customizable, allowing users to create reports without starting from scratch. Included in this release is a Template that lists out all the available Pay Requirements, and on a separate tab, detailed Lien Waiver data. See Enhanced Reporting: Create a Custom Company Report Using a Template
E-Signature Certificates
We will be enabling the inclusion of electronic signature certificates to accompany signed waivers. When a specialty contractor signs a waiver, the signature certificate is automatically attached to and returned with the waiver. The signature certificate provides details about the document and the accompanying signature for your peace-of-mind
