Make the Drawings Table Work the Way You Do

What it is A new Table Settings panel in the Drawings tool lets each user tailor the drawings table to their work: choose row height (small, medium, or large) and control column visibility and order across both default and custom fields. Preferences persist per user, sensible defaults preserve the current layout, and one click resets everything. Who it's for Project teams who live in the drawing log — superintendents scanning for the latest sheets, project engineers reviewing metadata, and document controllers keeping the set organized. Why it matters One table layout can't serve every role. Personalized row density and column configuration make it faster to find the right sheets, review the details that matter to your job, and keep drawing workflows organized — without forcing a one-size-fits-all view on the whole team. How to get started Available now to all customers. Open the Drawings tool and select the table settings icon to configure your view.

SmartBench Comes to the Gantt: AI-Suggested Resources

What it is SmartBench's AI-powered recommendations are now available on the Resource Planning Gantt. Right-click an open request and choose Suggest Resources to see the top-ranked available people, with skills, availability, distance, and matching job title. Manual assignment remains available. Who it's for Resource managers and schedulers who fill open resource requests on the Gantt — especially enterprise teams managing many open requests at once. Why it matters Filling a request has meant researching who's available and who fits — several minutes of manual searching per request. With AI surfacing the best matches, filling a request becomes verification rather than search, typically in under 30 seconds, without leaving the timeline. How to get started Available now as part of the Resource Planning open beta in ANZ, NAMER, and UKI. Right-click any open request on the Gantt and choose Suggest Resources. Beta beginning September 15, 2026.

Bring a Consistent Forecasting Cadence to Project Status Snapshots

What it is Periods for Project Status Snapshots lets company admins create and manage reporting periods, project teams associate each snapshot to an open period, and portfolio users filter and compare snapshots by period. Validation keeps closed periods locked and enforces one approved snapshot per project, per period. Who it's for Finance leaders and project teams who run monthly forecasting reviews — especially companies that roll snapshot data up across a portfolio.

A Centralized Tax Platform for Procore Financials

What it is A new Tax experience for tracking, calculating, and storing tax across Procore Financials. Company admins can centrally manage tax codes with effective dates, group multiple codes on a single line item, and control whether tax calculates before or after retainage. Project admins can toggle tax by project or by financial object and set default tax codes, and tax now appears directly on schedules of values, invoices, and PDF exports. Tax codes, rates, and amounts can also sync with supported ERPs, starting with Sage 300. Who it's for Finance teams, project accountants, and company admins who manage tax across contracts, change orders, and invoices — especially businesses operating in regions with multiple or layered tax requirements.

Pin RFIs and Other Items Directly to Your Specifications

What it is Connected Items pinning, already available in Documents and Document Management, now extends to Specifications on web. Teams can link or create coordination issues, observations, punch items, and more, pinned to the exact spec section they reference — and see everything connected to a spec from the viewer. Who it's for Project engineers and project managers who trace an RFI back to the clause that raised it — and anyone who needs to see, from the specification itself, what's still open against it. Why it matters Specs are a primary reference for RFIs and submittals, but there's been no way to spatially tie an item to the exact section it references. Teams describe section numbers in text, which breaks down across revisions. Pins create durable spatial links that survive revisions, making issue traceability immediate. How to get started Open a specification in the viewer, select the Connected Items panel, and place a pin. Available September 15, 2026.

Linear Workflows: Approvals That Are Faster to Build and Easier to Read

What it is Linear Workflows is a new way to design and run sequential approval and hand-off processes. Where Advanced workflows use a node-and-branch canvas built for complex routing, Linear Workflows use a table-based, step-by-step builder that's faster to set up and easier to read. When creating a template at the company or project level, you now choose between Linear and Advanced — both run on the same workflow engine, and existing workflow permissions carry over unchanged. Who it's for Company admins who standardize approvals across the platform, and the project managers, accountants, and document controllers who push RFIs, submittals, and observations through them every day.

Export a Complete Submittal Package — Attachments Included

What it is The Submittals Export menu now offers a second package option: PDF with all attachments. It produces one consolidated PDF with the package cover sheet, package attachments, and each submittal item's cover sheet and attachments in a predictable order. The existing PDF export is unchanged. Who it's for Submittal coordinators and project engineers who share packages with architects, owners, and specialty contractors — anyone who's been asked for the whole package in one file. Why it matters Sharing complete package documentation with people who don't log in to Procore — or assembling closeout documentation — has meant manually stitching cover sheets and attachments together. One comprehensive PDF removes that assembly work, speeds up handoffs and reviews, and gives teams confidence the shared package is complete. How to get started In Submittals, open the Export menu on a package and choose PDF with all attachments. Available September 15, 2026.

Inspections: iOS - Configured Sync and Progress Header

What it is A new sync header for the Inspections tool on iOS consolidates sync status, progress, estimated time remaining, and attachment downloads in one place — and adds configurable sync. From the settings control, users can choose a subset of data to download, such as only open inspections or only inspections closed in the last 30 days. Who it's for Field teams on data-heavy projects — especially those working with very large inspection sets where a full download can take hours. Why it matters On projects with massive data sets, downloading everything before starting work wastes time in the field. Configured sync lets users prioritize the data they actually need, so they can get to work faster with confidence they have what matters — and the new header keeps them informed on exactly where the sync stands. How to get started Rolling out now on iOS for the Inspections tool. Tap the sync header's settings control to configure what downloads to your device. Available September 15, 2026.

Keep Workflows Moving: Flexible Assignee Management and New Granular Permissions

What it is Two upgrades that give teams finer control over who does what in a workflow — and who can fix it when things change. New step-level assignee actions are now available on both Linear and Diagram workflows, at template setup and on active, in-flight workflows. You can add a specific individual to a step, remove an assignee entirely, or ignore an assignee on a single step without removing them from their role — a non-destructive skip that keeps notifications, step progression and open items accurate. The assignee picker is narrowed to people who actually qualify for the step's project role, and when someone new joins a project role, they're automatically added to upcoming steps on active workflows. For Linear workflows on tools with item-level configuration enabled, a new Deferred Assignment option lets you author a template step without a fixed assignee and choose the right people later at the project or item level.
